Pulau Ubin 🚴 and Geylang Bazaar

Went to a short getaway to Pulau Ubin with my best friends! Never regret anything, but just the constant, annoying mosquito bites, I had 38 of them on both my legs and arms. -_-
Omg, we were sitting on a bumboat, halfway arriving to Pulau Ubin, and oh dear the boat driver was...WEIRD. This cargo ship is going to cross our path, and this driver uncle still decided to increase it's speed and crossed over this cargo ship! It was super near, and I thought we're going to crash. Not only me was freaking out, the other passengers too! Take a chill pill, uncle...

Just a cute little flower I noticed.

Presenting you my two crazy best friends, Shulin (left) and Susan (right). *rolls eyes*

Posing for the picture while on bicycle break. Ps, riding at Pulau Ubin was very very very tiring..

Just discovering.

Came across a muddy beach, and thanks to my sandals, mud's all covered on my feet right after this picture was taken.
PS: THE MOSQUITO BITES WERE NO JOKE.

After touring the whole island, we realised we still had time and went to explore Geylang's Bazaar!

The airport.

Went to the airport to fetch my dear sis & bro in law who just came back from London! Am really happy that they enjoyed there and even more grateful they were back safely. Apart from that, it's been a long time since I've went to the airport. With that, we went to the viewing mall where we could pleasantly view the flights taking off. It was a peaceful view and that formed a train of thoughts in me. I believe that most of us are working way too hard, sometimes we indeed do need a break for a short while perhaps. Personally, I felt that travelling is a blissful thing to do in life, and what could be better than having a short getaway from all the chaotic work we have here? Travelling could be both boon and bane, which technically means life. Life is short, and at the same period I came across this quote "what if today is the last day of your life?"

This made me feel that life is like a plane taking off. After the journey begins, we will encounter all sorts of misfortune or obstacles, but the plane will not stop unless you want to die...right? So let this plane of yours be the last day of your life - you'll only be able to take this plane for once and you're done. What could you do with this last plane? Travel with it, take chances of doing good things in life, try your best to fulfill the things you want and love the ones who loves you.

I think i am a wise man in my past life hahaha
Stay happy! Count your blessings ðŸ’–

Gentle Bones live!

Gentle Bones live in concert on 11th June 2016!
Another awesome night,
thanks to one cool dude of a singer,
and my best friend.

Gentle Bones (Joel Tan) is a singer who produces self-written songs, marvelous ones, ever since the posting of youtube videos of him at the age of 16! It all started with a youtube recommendation of his music video 'LOST' and I fell in love with it. Slowly, he produces even more tuneful music that attracted astronomical Singaporean audiences! Good job Gentle Bones, continue to make good music!

BRACES REMOVAL.

SAY WHAAAAAAT?

Yeap, I got my braces removed! Finally, am i right?!

Okay I got to chill. After I exit my dental clinic, I just can't stop smiling. And when I'm at the mall, about to take the bus home, I still can't stop smiling, and hence, leaving to everyone looking at me like wow she's weird.

Back to the procedure, it's all good. When I sat on the chair, the dentist ask, 'rebonding alright?' I don't know whether it's a question or a statement for me to double confirm, but nevertheless, I have no idea what's REBONDING is. So I arch an eyebrow and just said yes anyways. They then said, 'braces removal' and I understood. Hey, I don't know any dentist language okay.

I began lying down the chair as it syncline, and the dentist almost immediately gave me some sort of sunglasses and asked me to wear it, ah, that let me remembered 2 years ago, when I put on my brand new metals, I wore that too. So I'm all ready for it to be removed! (NOT specifically 2 years, but 21 months!) I thought my dentist would be taking out slowly, but it's so fast, like about 2 minutes for the whole process?! YEA I KNOW RIGHT. My dentist just used a tool and 'pluck' out the braces, I feel nothing, just a little pressure taking the glued metals off. And, I'm already smiling. I need to control.

So after taking it all out, my dentist sort of cleaned the glue or anything off? Because it's all spraying of water on my teeth and I heard scraping off kind of sound. So I just closed my eyes and wait for it to end. But suddenly, after all that, the feeling of something 'poking' my gums is back, and that I knew, he's cleaning the plaque off my edges of my teeth. It's not literally poking, but the feelings like poking off the dirt and such I dont know I can't see what's going on inside my mouth! After that, they inserted a 'blue tack' kind of squishy stuff that smelled like mint on both my upper and lower teeth, just like my 21 months ago, when my teeth are still all crooked and before the 4 extractions of teeth.

And when it's all done, I was told to wash my mouth with plain water and ta da! All done! My dentist then told me on the next 2 days, I must be back to take my retainers, which is free! And I was given a small mirror to see myself, and literally when I saw myself, my whole lips are filled with left out 'glue'. I cleaned them all off and when I smile, wow, my teeth felt so smooth!

What a fruitful 21 months of metals in my mouth. :)
